Objective

This UI/UX case study documents the processes involved in designing a payment transfer app. This app includes basic functionality such as transfer payments, request payment, transactions etc. This challenge took us 15-days to complete.

One of the main tasks was to follow the ideas of consistency through the color scheme, layout details and shape selection. Also, for the new user interface, the designer created original icons that corresponded with the general style and were intended to accomplish informative and navigational functions.

Project Brief

Identify problems and opportunities in an existing payment transfer application and utilize our knowledge in designing a solution.

The project entailed designing a payment transfer app from scratch. We chose to design and develop a payment transfer app because of the platform’s stability and a rich set of ecommerce features.

To make the interface of the application functionally interactive and strengthen its usability, the designer animated some elements of the screens. The animation had purely functional goals dealing with the details of navigation to guide a user and make the experience fast, highly informative and enjoyable.

At the start of the project, we had three main questions in mind.

How might we?

  • Improve the transaction experience?
  • Improve the user experience?
  • Adopt mobile payment?

Deliver

Finally, after we have built our product, we need to develop it, in order to see if it can be done or if we have any problems implementing the design. This is where the Android and iOS developers step in and make this product real. We conducted alpha testing and QA testing after it was ready.
